After my first swim, I'm very pleased with these goggles. The optic quality is very nice and I can see everything clearly. I swam 100 lengths without having to remove or adjust the goggles. This is a significant improvement on my old ones (made by a different manufacturer).

I have now probably bought eight to ten pairs of the Swans SRX Orange Prescription glasses during the past three years through different companies. I love them for their design and nice fit. What I am really, really discontent with are the sell statements around their Premium Anti-fog capabilities. After only about a month a very visible foggy surface starts to build up inside the glasses and this just gets worse and worse until you actually have to buy a new pair. With my first pairs I carefully washed the glasses with normal tap water after each swim session. With a second pair I tried to see if the classical "spitting" would help, but it did not help at all. With my third pair I tried washing the glasses with a tiny drop of shampoo after each session. The surface built up anyway. Eventually people told me one should not have to do anything with the glasses, but the foggy surface builds up anyway. For me, no pair of these glasses has lasted more than three to four months, swimming three times a week. I keep buying them, but I now only use them for competitions. They are just too fragile with this anti-fogging stuff to also train with. I give them a weak four stars. Attaching a photo of the foggy layer I am talking about in glasses just three months old.

Thanks for this feedback. Unfortunately it sounds like your attempts to clean the antifog layer is actually making the fogging worse. There is a bit more detail on this in our Care Guide here: http://www.swansuk.co.uk/blog/post/goggle-care-guide If you drop an email to support@swansuk.co.uk we can certainly help out further.
