Quality binoculars and probably the most innovative birding/wildlife equipment available today. The binoculars are heavy so a more relaxed shoulder harness would have been nice. Instructional video is important for these binoculars. While it’s an adequate demonstration, the longer video needs some work carefully slowing down with a zoom in frame that allows the viewer to see exactly how to use each function. The book’s instructions are different than the videos. The book could have been a bit larger along with the fonts. My suggestions come from a person with very good vision. You really do need to improve your instructional video.

So far 5 stars I just got it last week and I am still playing with it. I was a bit worried before I got them by reading the reviews and I had no issues so far. GREAT PRODUCT SO FAR. Joe

The problems started immediately. The owner’s manual was hard to read and English is not their first language. After getting through the battery charging, I worked for several days just to attach the strap to the binoculars. Impossible. Tried looking for help on line, nothing. Well, skip that we’ll get on to the eye adjustment. Instructions confusing and inaccurate. Working on all this, I found the dials, knobs, and adjustments clumsy and frankly they felt shoddy. They were also heavy and hard to handle. Then I discovered that there was no information in the owner’s manual on actually how to use the binoculars, download the apps, connect with your phone, etc. I was just going to have to figure that out? Well, forget it. At that point I decided to return them. Swarovski grudgingly allowed me to do so and although I had to pay for the return shipping, I did get a full refund. I’ve always been fond of my Swarovski binoculars and spotting scope but I’ll wait for an American company to do a smart binocular before I try that again.

I used the binocular in Africa and it recognised 0 birds. Was very disappointed with the product. The interface isn't well designed and the camera feature is a chore to use. Getting imaghes in and out of the device to an iPhone is non trivial. i am shocked at the poor design quality of the software and the user experince. The optics are great. Just wished it worked as advertised
