“I love them. The forehead rest has particularly enhanced my bird watching experience. Being a wearer of varifical glasses the headrest allows me to keep the optics in the correct position and assists me in not putting pressure on my glasses and struggling to view in the correct ‘zone’ of my varifocals. “The NL Pure 42 had a smaller exit angle compared to my old EL42. My old EL 42 was brighter amd had better maginification. The new NL42 definitely feels better on the hand and is lighter and the forhead rest is useful.”
“The optics are excellent as expected but the fitting of the object lens caps is poor as they keep falling off, I have already had to ask for two replacements. The dioptic adjuster does not lock into position and is easily moved when operating the focus wheel when wearing gloves in cold weather.”
