Lysine Aid is an effective, specifically designed L-Lysine supplement for kittens and cats for the management of Feline Herpes (FHV-1). Lysine Aid is easy to administer and comes in a tasty salmon flavoured gel. L-Lysine, a key component of Lysine Aid, is an amino acid that is naturally present in proteins and can play an important role in the management of herpes virus infection. It has been shown that during replication of feline herpesvirus, an increase in L-Lysine levels has had inhibiting effects on the virus, as it competes with arginine (another amino acid) in the replication process.
Lysine Aid is available in 50ml gel.
Recommended Amount:
Kittens
1 ml twice daily
Cats
2 ml twice daily
One pump is 2 ml. Apply to cat's paw or add to food.
Store in a cool, dry place.
