“Most of the lights work just how you would expect. The map lights are a bit off a pain to get out but once you do it's easy. Now the last one I tried to do is the dome light. The one I recieved was an eight of a inch too long and I had to modify the clip which makes it to big for the stock one. Once in the lighting is great. Way better then the stock lights.”
“Ordered an Led interior light kit for my 3rd gen Tacoma. Apparently Toyota uses a bunch of different bulb sizes for the dome light. Contacted customer support and the fixed the problem right away. Blown away! Will definitely be ordering all my aftermarket part with them”
“Kit works great the one problem I had is the center build was super tight to install and I popped a fuse in the process but no harm still works great”
“First the positives: The lights look great. Bright white in all light fixtures in the interior (and the license plates). For a modern mid priced vehicle, this is how it should have come from the factory. Much brighter than the stock halogens also.
Now the negative: The dome light was complete PITA. At one point I was thinking of giving up on it. I Never had such a hard time installing a light bulb. The blame goes partly on Toyota for a bad clamp design, and partly on whoever manufactures the bulb. The bulb is shaped like a double sided bullet, and is supposed to fit in between the two clamps, held in by tension. The problem is that the factory bulb has an extra little tip at the end that helps hold it in, and the TacomaBeast one doesn't have that little tip on the end, making it a little less secure. This thing fell out multiple times during the install because of this, and kept falling between the seat, and console. Took me probably a half hour to install this one bulb, and it doesn't seem to be the most secure setup, but it's in there now. I took a star off because of that one bulb. Otherwise a great buy.”
