“Great looking kit. Easy to install and fits right in. Engine bay looks cleaner and meaner. I have a flashed ECU with VF Tuner and this intake system compliments it with the much needed additional air. Wakes up the 3.5 big time! At WOT there is a very noticeable throaty growl in mid to upper rpm range. At highway speeds the ram air scoop obviously stacks a huge volume of air into the induction, it now pulls hard to redline in every gear. I've noticed it is much easier to gently increase speed and/or quickly accelerate to merge without the truck dropping two gears in the AT to do so, unless you hammer it. Have one tank of gas on it and my mpg's are up over 1+ and that includes stomping on it quite a bit. View window in box allows easy filter viewing and is an awesome feature. Get it!”
“Relatively easy install. Takes a bit of patience to get it just right and get everything lined up but not bad.
Noticed an immediate difference! Definitely a little power boost and quicker acceleration. Also the way it sounds! I have a TRD performance exhaust on my '22 and it sounds mean when I put my foot down.”
“This was an easy self assemble product. I'm not a mechanic and I just followed that guy Jesse Rizo with the walk through step by step.
The performance is pretty significant. It sounds great.
I would actually give this overall product a 4.5 if I could. And the only reason if because after all the loose fittings and wiggling, I could not get 3 of the screws that mount the intake housing. So right now there is the only 2 screw in the inside holding it down. I don't see an issue for performance, but I really wish the sizing was more precise.
Next buy...a new exhaust system!”
“Installed this on my 2021 TRD off-road and could feel the extra pep right away, the truck definitely breathes better in the lower gears. For Daily driving the noise level isn’t too much of a difference but when you floor it you get a slight vibration hum from the passenger side which is a little too much but tolerable since it’s a rare occurrence occurrence”
