Cara’s courses have been a life saver for my family. Even though I knew this was the best thing for my family and our baby I was extremely nervous to start. I was so worried about the crying. Cara does a great job preparing you for the crying and explaining it. On the very first night my baby put himself to sleep within 5 minutes and during the night he never needed more than one pop in. I highly recommend Cara’s courses for any family who is looking to get more sleep!

I was very hesitant to sleep train. I did not want to hear my baby cry. It got to the point where no one in my house was sleeping and I couldn’t be the mom I wanted to be. We just finished sleep training and there has been a night and day difference! Now that my baby is sleeping better he is so much happier and so am I! And he really only cried the first two nights. I will do this with all of my future babies!

I’m not sure where I would be without Cara. I listened to the newborn class when visiting a friend and tried implementing things that I had learned from eavesdropping. Then decided I would buy the next bundle for my son. I feel like these principles should be taught to any family having a child. My son started to sleep through the night at 3 months, 7a-5a…his naps were horrible, but I kept Cara in my head saying nexts come later, just wait. Then around 8 months his sleep was creeping backwards. 6am became 5:30, and around the holidays it was 4:45. This momma is a sleeper, and bad at coping when she doesn’t. 4:45 for 2 weeks was just not going to work for me. I finally got around to listening to the course I bought, and her pop-ins and getting back on track were just what I needed again. It’s not so much that the concepts are challenging but the courses give structure to not only my son but also myself and my husband. As a nurse, I also appreciate referring back to the science of sleep and the impact it has on the developing baby.

This course gave us our lives back. My baby was an excellent sleeper as a newborn and slept through the night before 12 weeks...until we hit the 4-month sleep regression. He started waking up multiple times a night, and he wasn't napping unless we held him. He was overtired, we were exhausted, and it was starting to affect every single other area of our lives. Enter: Taking Cara Babies. In less than a week, we had a baby who was putting himself to sleep for bedtime AND naps without any tears, and he was sleeping through the night again (as well as taking long naps independently). This course is thorough, researched, and encouraging, and the method WORKS. This course is worth EVERY penny. Not only do we have a happy, well-rested baby, but we feel more like ourselves again, too.

Our son stopped napping around 3 months old and was waking up multiple times a night. He was also completely melting down every night for the last hour before bed. Now he’s 6 months and napping 3 hours a day. He goes to bed at 6:30pm and gets up at 7:30am with one sometimes two night feedings. He’s sleeping in his own room too! So grateful for this course.

It works! You have to be committed to following the steps each night. My baby now sleeps 8-10 hours straight without needing to get up to nurse. If she does get up she cries for about 5-8 minutes and then goes back to sleep without me having to go in there. Consistency, consistency, consistency!

I am so thankful to Cara and this program. I genuinely feel like it has given me my life back. We started sleep training our little one as soon as she turned 5 months old. By that point, her nighttime sleep (which had once been pretty decent) had regressed to the point where she was waking up every 1.5 hours and the only way to get her back to sleep was by nursing. Daytime sleep was also a nightmare - all contact naps and getting her to sleep required a Herculean effort on my part every single time. We followed Cara’s program to a T and it worked beautifully. It definitely involved some crying, but thanks to Cara’s informative and well-thought course modules, we knew it was not harmful to let baby cry for a while, and we knew we were doing the best thing for her and for our family. She is now sleeping 12 hours a night and taking all naps in her crib. I would (and do) recommend this program to anyone!
