As first time parents, we found the newborn and 3-4 months courses extremely helpful. We started when our newborn was 8 weeks old. Trying out CRIES on that first day was life changing: I felt empowered with techniques to calm our baby. The first couple weeks of integrating the meal/sleep schedule was tough, but persistence paid off big time. It seems our baby thrives on the routines and it’s awesome to see her put herself to sleep. Even as we go through the 4th month sleep regression, it’s so helpful to understand what’s going on and how we can support our baby through it. I like that Cara’s approach is compassionate above all else. We’re now coming to 5 months and I think we’ll purchase that guide next!

This WORKS! We followed the lessons and advice and we have a 9-week-old that sleeps 9 hours straight at night! These classes have made me feel empowered, well-rested, and at peace knowing we are doing what is best for our baby! This is an excellent class that I am already recommending.

I love the Instagram page, and find it very rewarding. However, I found the newborn course didn't give enough direction. It leaves you to believe that all you have to do is rock your baby with CRIES, then lay them in their crib, and they'll sleep on your own. Even with the SITBACK strategies, it's still unclear how much support you are supposed to give and for how long. I recently saw Cara mention in one of her stories that she suggests you try the strategies twice a day, see what happens, and offer full support to go to sleep if it isn't working, as you're just laying a foundation. But that isn't explained in the newborn course, which just ended up leaving me and my husband feeling extremely frustrated as our baby wasn't going to sleep with the strategies listed. I wish she gave more of a step by step outline for how to help your baby, being clear that there isn't going to be immediate success.

Love! I tell everyone who is pregnant to purchase. We used it with both of our kids (2.5)&(10weeks) and both great sleepers!

I never gave infant sleep a thought until I was 6 weeks into new motherhood, struggling with putting my daughter down for bed, and waking up every two hours to feed her. I was overwhelmed to say the least, and my husband going back to work just added to the load. This course changed my life in literally two days. The course is really easy to comprehend and quick to get through. I was able to start applying the concepts the day of purchase and was able to get her to fall asleep on her own the next day. It was also helpful to return to the course content when I had a tough night to see what I missed or forgot to implement. Now my daughter is 4 months old and is sleeping like a champ for the most part. As Cara states, baby sleep is up and down. Some nights are great, others not so much. We haven’t hit the 4 month sleep regression yet, but we did have to transfer her to a sleep sack and we only had one bad night of her waking up due to the transition! This course is a must have for any parent, new or experienced, that needs help with infant sleep. I am so happy I bought this course. It truly is an invaluable resource.

It was very hard at first but baby started to sleep through the night for about two months. Once she turned 9 months everything started to go back to the way it was, and it was even harder to try to go back to letting her cry. Right now it feels like after all the tears, we are back to the beginning. I think it works for most babies, but not all.

I was recommended this program by a lot of people, so I do believe it works for most, but for our LO and our family, it didn’t really help much. I felt the price was a bit high, but I was desperate to find a solution. The solution, for us, ended up being probiotics recommended by our pediatrician. She is now sleeping 4-6 hours at night. I’d recommend first talking with your pediatrician to see if there are any underlying causes for sleep issues and then explore other options once you’ve tried those. Overall, I do believe this works for some people, but for me the price was high and the information didn’t change our situation.
