It seems like the rate of success is highly dependent on the baby's temperament, and while the course was helpful in building a foundation of knowledge around baby sleep, it didn't deliver any major results.

As a first time mom, this class helped me so much with my confidence! It’s not a “here are the rules, follow them!” class. There is flexibility for missed naps, short naps, formula feeding/breast feeding, reflux, etc. I had no idea what a wake window was before this class. We have been putting our now 4 month old awake in her bassinet every night since we got her home. Yes, some nights it didn’t go to plan. But most nights there were minimal tears, and she was sleeping almost 12 hours a night. Oh and one more thing, naps are just hard.. let it go!! Thanks Cara!!

We never had an issue with my first. She was a great sleeper the day we brought her home. Our second, not so much. After weeks of sleepless nights and unsafe sleep practices, I was determined to get her on the same track as her big sister. With the help of Cara's newborn class and additional 4 month sleep regression tips, we now have a GREAT 5 month sleeper! She gets about 11-13 hours of sleep, almost every night, AND can soothe herself back to sleep after the pacifier falls out!

Ive told anyone and everyone about this course. We have twins who are 6 months old age adjusted (4 months old from due date). I had no idea what to do with newborns. After 2 months in the nicu they just send you home! I didnt know about wake windows or when or how to deal with night feedings... I love the Cara's background spoke to our experience. We implemented takingcarababies once they were at their expected due date. But used her tips to help calm them prior to this. By two months old our kids were sleeping through the night. The best part is we never ever had to let them cry it out. They sleep in their cribs, they dont wake each other up. They slowly dropped 1 night feeding, then two, then down to none. They never wake up in the middle of the night. They go to bed awake and within 10 minutes are fast asleep. We have road tripped across Ontario and flown to another time zone and zero issues with adapting to time change. Both naps and night sleep are flawless. Were in the middle of the 3-4 month e book right now and have already bought the 5-24 month course. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

This course did not teach me anything at all. It was pointless and a waste of money

My baby was waking up 3-4 times per night before we tried Cara’s sleep training. It definitely helped us understand the feeding needs of our baby. She was waking up just to comfort feed and was not actually hungry. It took 2-3 nights of very light tears and now she is sleeping 11-12 hours per night. The only warning I have is for breastfeeding mamas. The long night sleep has decreased my milk supply production. I would recommend a pumping session during the night to keep the production going.
