I’m a first time mom & had zero clue what sleepy cues even were. When Cara says “when if doubt l, pop it out” as in the breast to nurse. I was doing that! Every time she cried I assumed she was hungry. I thought she was colicky - but when I’m fact she was over tired & I didn’t know baby’s needed naps like this - honestly. I was bedsharing & contact napping every nap. Not only me but my husband felt like we had no life & something felt wrong. My friend did Taking Cara Babies 5+ method & told me to give you a try. So I did. Even just listening to your videos before implementing anything felt life changing. Every new parent should take your newborn class! I got the newborn class when my girl was 9 weeks old & thought it was too late to implement. She cried every time I set her down. With patience & meeting babies caloric need with FULL feedings, she now naps better & I am getting 11 hours of sleep almost every night. Sleeps in her own space & I can somewhat conquer naps on the go. (Naps are iffy but - developmentally appropriate still) I LOVE Cara’s no cry routine & makes me feel so connected to my baby more than before being able to meet her basic needs at it’s most holistic approach. My baby girl last night put herself to sleep by herself for the first time (16weeks) & I thought no way would my baby ever do that ! Cara is a baby whisper Everyone needs this newborn class as a new parent.

I’m very disappointed if I’m being honest. We maybe had two nights with 8 hour stretches, but last that, one week shy of 5 months are up every couple of hours all night. This feels like a waste of money and I’m not entirely sure why we purchase the next package. We’re at a complete loss and when reached out for help we’re copy and pasted links of items we’d already read and tried.

This program has been an absolute winner for us. We started using it when our baby was 4/5 weeks old and he has been sleeping through the night since about 10 weeks old. The major reason I’ve found it so helpful is having the SITBACK method to use. Even if a nap is an absolute fail, just knowing I have an approach that I’m using and can try again in the next nap makes me feel empowered.

Cara babies has some very helpful tips and tricks for helping parents with sleep training. However, this training was not helpful for our household. Our schedule did not fit into a perfect night time routine. Our baby ended up sleeping through the night around 2.5 months on her own, after getting up every 3 hours. Spent too much time stressing trying to get my baby to match a schedule or use tools from this training.

Incredible! I am on my third baby and wish so badly I would’ve paid the money for this on my first. It’s got so much helpful info and is so encouraging when I’m struggling. The course combined with TCB Instagram is really all you need to get through the newborn stage and not just get through but actually ENJOY! Thank you!!

this is transformational! i was skeptical at first but i really need to admit that the EASY approach along with our SNOO have created a perfect sleeper. My baby is almost 4 months and sleeps 10 hours straight- we do especially love the order and predictability that came into our lives! i have been recommending this course to all my friends with little babies who are still so sleep deprived! thank you, Cara and team!

I was so eager to try this program as several of my friends have had great success and I am a big type A person. However, we haven’t found much progress following the plan laid out (and we follow it exactly). Our baby struggles with excess gas and reflux and constantly wakes himself up at night with gas pain. We have to help him pass gas and then he is able to go back to sleep. While I feel like this is a great program and would definitely work for most babies, it doesn’t with our baby. We’re still waking constantly at night. Our baby is even able to put himself to sleep and takes most naps in his crib. He goes down drowsy but awake and only mildly struggles with bedtime. We’ve tried an earlier bedtime and a later bedtime, capping his daytime sleep and extending and decreasing his wake windows to no avail. Happy it works for some parents, unfortunately, we’ll just keep plugging away hoping he outgrows his gas.

As you’re seeing, physical discomfort like gas and reflux can make it tough for babies to sleep well. Please know if you email info@takingcarababies.com, we have a team of expert sleep consultants who would love to help you look at possible next steps to make sleep progress.
