Literally a waste of money. I would never recommend this program to anyone.

I am not one to write reviews but when it comes to something that has LITERALLY changed my life. I’ll shout it from the rooftops. We started the newborn class when our son was 8 weeks old and it was so helpful but with life things and a week of waking up every hour everything we had learned just went out the window and we were in survival mode. My husband was ready for sleep training a lot sooner then I was (with postpartum anxiety I would get really upset at even the thought of it ). We compromised and decided to start back up with “navigating 3-4 months” and utilized the phone consult option(GOD SEND) and if baby boy needed a little extra help by 5 months we would purchase the 5-24 month collection and start sleep training. He did really well and was sleeping through the night but still needed 5 minutes of deep squats to actually fall asleep. He is getting heavy and my back was starting to hate me lol. So we followed with a plan and started sleep and nap training. The first night I think I cried more than baby and he was falling asleep on his own with in 6 minutes of laying him down (mostly talking to himself with a few cries). Tonight is night two and we put him in his crib said goodnight and by the time we got downstairs and started the timer he was asleep! I truly believe he was set up for success with your program. Now we can move forward with confidence and a solid foundation. We feel indebted to you! WORTHEVERYPENNY

This program gave me direction as a first time mother and after getting it I felt like I was actually getting the hang of taking care of my son. It was night and day difference after getting this program, worth every pennyfor me.

I bought this package when my baby was 4 months old, hoping I could start training him to sleep better and fall asleep on his own. However, even when I tried these skills, it felt like it was too late in the game. I realize now that I bought the wrong package (should have gone with the ABCs of sleep) to really train him... so I feel like I am back to square one. So I mostly am kicking myself for not getting this package sooner to try on him younger. I also wished I realized that this package wouldn't work for a 4-month-old. Or maybe I'm just doing it all wrong still??

Kaitlin, For families who are quickly approaching 5 months, we typically would recommend thinking about our 5-24 Month Collection. We don't want you to feel stuck or discouraged. Would you email info@takingcarababies.com so that we can help make sure you have the course you need?

After our first few nights home, I knew I needed to do something as we were getting no sleep. Friends recommended purchasing Cara’s course and I’m soo happy I did. It really did change the newborn stage for us and we finally got some sleep. I would highly recommend this to any new moms. I also recently purchased the 5-24 month course. You will not regret any of her courses.

I think Cara had some great tips & tricks. Learning wake windows and sleepy cues was probably our biggest benefit from the course. Unfortunately there just wasn’t a lot of info I feel like geared toward our little one. He really is not a swaddle baby. And during the day he is a big cat napper. So as for the guidance on being able to have my “you time” with her recommendations, it really isn’t that predictable unfortunately. I feel like the tips on how to structure his feed, awake time, & sleep with errands or activities is really difficult with his lack of sleep. I also would love in the course If Cara addressed the “stage 5 clinger” type babies. Our little one needs a lot of guidance with sleep. It takes quite a bit more than CRIES to get him down, unfortunately. And once he’s down, the second he’s not on mom, he’s awake. Giving moms advice on transitioning to independent sleeping with babies who primarily want to sleep on mom or via baby carrying would be really helpful. All in all. There were key components that helped us understand our newborn better. But it is so true that every child is different. Some of the techniques just didn’t really work for ours.

I’m honestly so disappointed. I had the highest hopes for this class. I followed all of the tips and had a great sleeper that could put herself to sleep. However, that is only in a swaddle or in her swing. Now that she is 3.5 months old, it’s not safe for her to be swaddled. Ive been trying to transition her out of the swaddle but it’s just not working. As soon as I lay her down in crib or bassinet and leave, arm moves and she is awake. Even though she can put herself to sleep when swaddled, she can’t with even one arm unswaddled. My baby is only 3.5 months old. In my opinion, this course should have tips and tricks to get baby unswaddled. It doesn’t. Now as I sit here frustrated and emotional that we did all this work for nothing, I have to unsafely swaddle my baby or hold my baby so she can nap.

We are so grateful for this bundle. We bought this course in the midst of newborn survival mode one night when we reached peak sleep deprivation. We instantly started implementing the routines & building habits of a good sleeper when our baby turned 4 weeks old. Now, he is 3 months old and has been sleeping through the night for 3 weeks straight. Through. The. Night. Mom, Dad, and baby boy have never been happier. We attribute it all to TakingCaraBabies!
