Not very useful until at least 8 weeks. The swaddling techniques did not work for us (believe me, I tried), but the main concepts of getting snug and cozy, white noise, and shushing did (see the 5S's). Our baby is now about 10 weeks old, and just beginning to take in more ounces during feedings during the day, and sleep longer stretches at night, but I don't think it's due to the program. Other information shared is helpful for first-time parents, but as a second-time parent I'm not sure I learned much.

This was a complete game changer for my wife and I. Once we started taking the newborn class, our lives greatly improved and we were actually able to enjoy these moments with our little one. It gave us a really helpful guideline to follow. Thank you so much!!!!

My favorite aspect of the First Five Month bundle is that it educated me about the most important parts of having a newborn (sleep and feeding and how the two are connected). It was empowering and such a feeling of relief to understand my baby and her sleepy cues so that I can give her what she needs at the appropriate times. At 8 weeks old, my baby is a champion napper (even if some of them are short naps!), can put herself to sleep at bedtime and is down to one overnight feeding. Thank you, Cara!

I started following on instagram during pregnancy from the advice of a family member that had taken the course (14 month old is easy to fall asleep and sleeps through the night, babysitting was amazing). I purchased the course and followed from the time we got home from the hospital to now at 9 weeks. Our baby girl sleeps in long stretches at night (5-7 hours), naps 4 times a day and puts herself to sleep without rocking or feeding. On the harder evenings when she happens to become overtired because of life the advice of the class helps calm her and US for an easier transition to sleep. We can't say enough as first time parents. Our baby girl is happy, healthy, and sleeping!

The information was solid in theory and gave us good soothing techniques but it didn't really work for us to get our baby to sleep consistently and for longer stretches. My little one is 15 weeks old now and doing multiple rounds of SITBACK ended up tiring us out and a frustrated and an even more overtired baby.

All tips we’ve learned from “will I ever sleep again” have worked in practice for my LO. Very grateful and looking forward to using the balance of the course as she grows

My baby went from not being able to be put down to sleeping on her own in her bassinet for naps and night time sleep within 4 days. I am obsessed with this bundle and best thing I did for me and my baby! Highly recommend for sleep and for moms sanity!

We have been implementing strategies Cara taught us for about 6 weeks now with our 12 week old baby. She went from all contact naps that slowly began not working for her, to all naps in her crib in her room and sleeping at least 6 hour stretches at night in her bassinet in our room. Cara approaches sleep gently and as a process. Her guidance was so helpful and reassuring that it would take time and it’s ok if there are hard days too. I need to rewatch the videos now that our girl is 3 months as I’m sure I’ll learn new things in this new age. Totally recommend this course!!
