“I love the fabric feel and the inner wrap. I personally feel there is too much fabric for wrapping. I love the quiet closure/ wrap and the magnetic style bottom closure, but way too much fabric- too overwhelming for many new parents and no need for a piece to wrap around baby tummy when you have the actual wrap piece. I’d love to use this fabric and make one like sleep-pea/ happiest baby swaddle, the fabric and quiet closures is the best part . I give it a 4 for fabric and quiet closures”
“Love the idea of the swaddle! It’s buttery soft and thinner than the competitor, so I can see it perfect for warmer days. Also really like the soft close Velcro. However, I have a larger newborn and at 1 month, he’s already 12lbs. The Velcro doesn’t hold that well and because of how the fabric is cut at an angle, he breaks out of the swaddle every time. I haven’t used it with the inner band because it’s been too warm where we live. I’m not sure how long we can use the swaddle given the size and I think for smaller babies it would work. Hopefully an updated version in the future with a larger surface space to accommodate larger newborns would help to get a tighter swaddle.”
Thank you for the feedback. I understand that you're experiencing some breakouts. The b.e.s.t. swaddle is designed to fit babies even at 4 months and 20 lbs, so I'm confident we can help you figure this out. I would encourage you to try the inner band by itself if your baby is running warm, and he breaks out of the outer wrap alone (see the "breezy" style in your instruction book for more).
