“I bought my last 100% lambswool blanket from Johnston of Elgin, Made in Scotland and purchased from TBC because they had the tartan I was looking for. It’s made in China, almost half the volume of then Johnston blanket and within a few days has piled. It was very expensive for the quality and inferior fibre used. Both products are 100% lambswool. Very disappointed with this product.”

Hi Colette, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. So sorry to hear that you are not happy with your purchase from us. Our lambswool and Cashmere is now all sourced, dyed and woven in Mongolia. We work with a partner over there who has a family farm and uses his own wool as well as neighbouring farms wool, to produce all of our blankets and scarves. We’ve learned that the farming practise in Mongolia are much more traditional and people operated compared to other counties and they don’t use time harmful time saving practices such as mulesing. It is really important for us to only work with trusted partners, one in Mongolia and one in India (for recycled wool products), so that our customers can be confident in how and where their items are being made, and because we like working with good people!
