“As a TASER Instructor (certified by AXON) I'm pretty "shocked" by some of these reviews. One claims the T7 is only good for 3-4 feet. Not sure where they got that information. The cartridges included here are good for 12 feet. That means they have 12 feet of wire spooled inside the cartridges. This is the civilian version, so yes, it's shorter than the Law Enforcement/Security cartridges, which are 25 feet, but 80% of TASER deployments are within 12 feet. This person also said the T2 is good from 12-25 feet. That's true if you use the law enforcement cartridges. The civilian cartridges for the T2 have 15 feet of spooled wire, not 25. The T2 also does not have Adaptive Cross Connect technology. Look it up on the Axon website and see why it's so important.Another reviewer said "It's 1600 direct from manufacturers website. This is sold directly by Axon through their TASER store here on Amazon for $1,599 as of this writing.The TASER7 is the best TASER NMI device ever made. Period. I've used one on people who have been hit with the X26 and T2 and they said this one was by far the most incapacitating. It's the same technology for Law Enforcement.”
