“My partner and I were in Cafayate in February and March 2020 (before Covid). We were very keen to get back to the tastes we remember even though we didn't know much beyond Malbec and Torrontes. The Tannat grape is quite a find, there's something robust about it and the Amauta one was, if anything, more sophisticated than I was expecting. My six bottles arrived promptly and in very reassuringly strong packaging.”
“I absolutely love the Amauta Absoluto Tannat 2019. I have tasted more expensive versions of this wine but this is my favourite. I love the earthiness (terroir) taste of it. It is a beautiful strong red wine with a complex taste and would reccomend it to anyone who loves a bold red wine. I really enjoy sipping a glass on it's own while relaxing at weekends.”
