“I like Irish black teas, and this one doesn't disappoint. I really like Thompson's Irish Breakfast, and this one also brews rich and dark without getting bitter. The ONLY think I'd like with this version is a bit more maltiness, but otherwise it's like the perfect Irish tea.”
“I just started drinking tea again after a long time coffee/espresso kick. I've used loose tea in the past and loved it so a buddy suggested a great Irish tea, and so I ordered Punjana. What a great tasting tea it is ! Nice malty taste and good caffeine without being bitter. I can't ask for better ! I'll be buying from teadog.com from now on.”
“Just this morning I poured a cuppu of loose Punjana from my old Brown Betty pot expecting a different tea flavor and this tea delivered that. Not overly strong or bitter but a full pleasing flavor. Somewhere between Irish & Scottish teas.Pairs well with desserts and meals.Have to say also with my pipe baccy while listening to BBC Saturday night radio mystery drama. This is truly a tea blend of its own standing.Which is great!. Why try this tea.Well aside from that its actually from where it says, my mothers family are northwest of Donegal.Wanted to know how the tea they drink tasted so there you go.Any road, look try this tea if your asking for a smooth unique flavor. Will most definitely buy again.A new favorite.Might you also try Miles tea from Cornwall to which it was recommended .Very good. The honest and knowledgeable service is well appreciated!Tah-rah”
“I am on a continuing quest to find a tea marketed in the 70s as Irish tea by Yankee trader. Until I find it, Punjana is one of my favorites. Going to try using it instead of coffee for my bullet morning beverage”
