“The product I purchased claimed to be genuine Apple headphones. When they arrived I could tell as soon as I opened them they weren't the real deal.
Firstly, they looked very shoddy and cheaply made.
Secondly, the sound quality was appalling.
I was asked to provide a review at this point of my experience ordering with Doohicky, but to contact them first if I had any issues. I thought I would give them a chance to fix the situation so I let them know how poor the product I received was and the fact they DEFINITELY weren't genuine.
At this point Doohicky stated I must have received a faulty pair or had been sent the wrong order because what they normally do is 'take the headphones from an IPhone box send post them out.'
Surely this practice is illegal as you are reselling something that shouldn't be sold separately?
They said they would send me out a new pair of the correct headphones straight away and asked me not to write a review.
The new pair arrived yesterday and they are exactly the same substandard quality. One look and they are clearly knock offs. I showed my wife them and she just laughed.
I will be taking them to my local Apple store with my order invoice next week as I will be extremely interested what their thoughts are on the false advertising by Doohicky are. I also wonder what their thoughts will be on the fact they think reselling headphones separately from the IPhone is fine.
Even after giving this lot a second chance they still have no problem trying to fob you off with awful, cheap and tacky fakes.
What ever you for don't order from this company. Rip off merchants of the highest order.
Very very poor.....”
“I am not convinced that these are Genuine Apple Earpods, the box and the general build don't feel of the quality I am associate with Apple products and the plastic is not as sold feeling as my previous pair that came with my Apple product. That said they work fine...by lack the punchy sound quality I was hoping for. Good fast service.”
“Ordered new battery for my Galaxy SIII Mini, which took days to arrive and was then found to be the wrong battery. No way to contact a real person, so was forced to use their email complaints system. Took two emails to get to get a response!! Waiting to see what they intend to do?”
“Charger ordered. Sent to wrong address - twice Confused elderly lady returned it - twice. Email correspondence dealt with issue reasonably quickly. Replacement ordered. Sent to wrong address. Third charger sent to correct address. Disabled recipient now quite distressed as phone battery completely flat and no way of contacting anyone. Unimpressed.”
