“The Left earphone was much quieter than the right one. Also, when the headphone jack is in a certain position, no sound was audible through the right earphone. When the sound was 'working', the audio quality was poor, worse than even some £3 earphones. I would not buy again.”
“So very much like yourself I stumbled across DooHicky-Hut.com and thought to myself wow the products on here are incredibly cheap for what they are. I also took note on the in the amount of great reviews this site had received. I did read a fair view and noticed a quite a few people rating the seller 4 out of stars even when the product didn't quite function how it should.
I ordered a pair of Genuine Ipod ear phones (the latest model). The delivery was a respectable time and the package was at a fairly decent standard.
The product itself was not quite as I expected - when you by Ipod earphones from Apple, Carphone Warehouse or Argos etc the transparent case containing the head phones comes in a clear plastic box with a hanging tab. This was not the case.
I noticed the earphone case has been touched with a black marker, I also noticed the cable of the headphone's themselves also has been touched with a black marker. Other than that the headphones appeared to be in good condition.
I then test the headphones to find that one ear piece lacks base and seems to produce sound a lot quieter than the other one. I borrows my friends Ipod earphones he received with his phone in the same device and both ear pieces functioned the same.
I then noticed that the volume buttons did not work on the earphones and that on the odd occasion the sound of music would reduce until it was muted.... the headphones volume down button was stuck reducing the volume of my music.
I contact DooHickey via email and advised the above, they replied in the advised time.
I also tried contacting them via Facebook to where it advised that they would reply within an hour, this was not the case in fact there still hasn't been a reply, so don't go down that route.
Anyway they replied asking whether id like a resend or refund, I said resend.
a week later I decided to chase, a day later an email was sent for a refund.
So in my experience this whole order was a waist of time, I still do not have a pair of headphones! I also feel that although these products are genuine are they duff products or perhaps RMA goods? I'm not sure but I wont be ordering from them again.”
