“You must use a 2A plug in the wall not the usual 1A for phone charges or you'll never get it to consistently charge. This drove me mad till I worked it out. However when the pad does connect, the amount of heat it gives off is insane, my phone was almost to hot to touch. I'm going back to a standard cable”
“Its not a genuine cable,i plugged it into my apple mac & it kept asking me to remove it!
I then had 2 buy another cable from apple direct.
