“this company will purposefully ignore you if you request to cancel or return an item; even though they are required to honour your request to cancel or return any item within 14 days of you receiving it as stated under UK law. All telephone and email contact is linked to an automated system that does not reply to you, other than to acknowledge receipt of your correspondence which is deeply frustrating and disempowering. There is absolutely no address information available; either online, on their website, or in any correspondence that will enable you to return an item by post if you wish to cancel or return any goods despite this being your right as an online consumer. After all of my correspondence had been ignored for over 28 days I eventually went to my bank and sent them screenshots of all the correspondence I had made to doohickey-hut.com. My bank subsequently arranged for me to be awarded a full refund without hesitation. I had to write directly to Reviews.io to specifically request to submit a review myself because Doohickey-hut never reached out to me to submit a review through this site themselves. No wonder they have so few negative reviews that the public can see on Reviews.io. My hope is that this review site (and others like it) change their policies so as not to allow companies like this to take advantage of them and the public in this way by ignoring the consumers basic rights”
