I ordered the Gen 2 Safari Stingray tent. It arrived when expected in good condition. I have setup the tent inside and I am impressed by the quality of the bug net. It is much thicker and higher quality than the non Safari Stingray. The bag and tent is also made of high quality material. The only small downside was a few extra loose threads here and there. Overall amazing quality and I cannot wait to set this up on a camping trip! Stay tuned for a full length camping review video on the DMF Travels YouTube page

Living between heaven and earth Dear outdoor-friends, we live in this tent in the nature and especially at the beaches of Caribbean islands. We never felt so free and protected in the same time. We can always live outside in the nature under the free sky because we have a protection against the rain and the hot sun and the little and big animals. Also we don’t disturb them. So normally the animal welferists and conservationists don’t see any problems or dangers in this way of living. We can live in harmony with the nature, with men and animals. Through this kind of tent a dream of free living can come true in a simple and easy way. How much ever it rains the raincover is very solid. We just had twice the problem that the steam of the protection against the moskitos opened and that the gums inside the tent to fix things could be in a higher quality. But the service did everything to replace us the tent on warranty as fast as possible. We can tell with all our heart that with this high quality tent it can get a great glorious adventure and unique experience to live between heaven and earth We wish you a personal unique experience which fulfill you hearts with a lot of happyness David & Maria with the family ELIA

I have mixed emotions here. What I didn't like: After four night of use, one of the pole sections on my "super durable" Safari, with 5 year of warranty, broke causing also a damage on the rain fly. I was explained that pole damages are not covered by warranty and that I did the set up wrong. So, reed carefully Terms and conditions, you'll find out that warranty covers almost nothing. Flows in fabric, leaking, broken zips, seams coming apart, broken buckles and poles, UV degradation, commercial use... not covered by warranty. They did however sent me the replacement for the damaged parts but kept insisting that the damage occurred due to set up done wrong. There was nothing wrong with set up. On the floor fabric, after only two weeks of light use, there are visible holes around the stitches that are not on the reinforced parts but on the single layer of material. What I do like: Pretty much everything else. You sleep really well, in any position you like. Zippers are high quality, fully functional even in the uneven loaded tent. Insect mesh is the best I've seen, it will also protect you from the morning dew. Strap and ratchets look and feel heavy duty. The tent is absolutely waterproof, air circulation with the rain fly much better then I've expected. It takes less then a minute for one person to close the tent in case of rain. Rain fly does its job well but, unlike the rest of the fabrics, is a little delicate. Don't drag it over bushes.
