“A great one-person tent for lofting leisurely in the trees. I've ran tests out in the backyard w/o an imperfect tree setup (a very wonky triangle!) and the tentsile Una 1 was able to suspend and hold my 240lbs w/o issue (even w/ the tail end tree being over 20ft away). My kids and I are looking forward to our initial outing with this and the other two tents! I've replaced the ratchet system w/ rings and carabiner clips to do a "suspension line" style system (using a ring woven to a carabiner and looped fabric to create a friction based ratchet system) for a lighter setup. I've also purchased 1 inch wide straps and custom-cut my own lengths. This is a testament to the tentsile system. You're able to customize and setup however you want. Try that with a pole-setup! Good luck on that one!! LOL. After more trails, I'm contemplating a grove of the UNA -1's surrounding a "community" based Tentsile XL hammock system or 3-person tent for rainy days and night time laying under the starts before we retreat to our individual tents. Looking forward to the future!!!!”

“I picked up the UNA because hammocking is my preferred sleep system while backpacking, and I was curious if Tentsile could pull off a light weight tree tent. Consensus: UNA for the win. Compared to sleeping in a regular hammock, the UNA is much more comfortable and one feels more secure from the elements. In the summer I'm able to sleep warmly with just a light sleeping bag. When winter comes I will add an insulated sleeping pad underneath and I'm sure I will enjoy sleeping in the UNA above the snow just as much as I do the sagebrush. Thanks Tentsile.”
