“So far ridden 100+ miles so can only go by first impressions. Very pleased with the bike and ticks all the boxes for me.
It handles better than the Yamaha XVS 650 that it replaced and even though I am still running it in it is very responsive and comfortable. Ground clearance is a bit less than my current 'other' bike a Honda Super Magna, but I am having forward pegs installed which should give me more clearance.
Cruise control is something new to me and was handy for the Motorway jaunt today.
Filled the tank up and it registred 210 mile range, another plus.
Controls are easily accessible such as cruise control, indicators etc and liking the self cancelling indicators!!”
“This is clearly the best bike I've owned this century probably not as much fun as the bikes I owned throuhout the seventies and eighties but heck I'm now 62 and I need something a little more sedate. The Harley Heritage Softail is an Iconic motorbike and I've always wanted so I'm still pleased I bought this one. It's well admired where ever I go and is what I call a real head turner. Of course it wouldn't be fun if I didn't spend even more money on it adding Screamin Eagle pipes, leather panniers and a new seat adds to the fun. I still look at Harleys on ebay and appreciate that I got a lot of bike for my money with TLC I will have an even greater bike to see out my biking years.”
