“You have to realise that these bikes have not been made for a long time - this one is F registration (1988) ! They have an unrivalled reputation for reliability but the problem for me (and perhaps others can help me on this) is that no-one in this area seems to know how to Service them ,so mess things up and charge for it !! They have messed up the step gear-change so that it snatches on changing ,but blame the clutch ,when it was never a problem before the servicing .
The main problem for such bikes is rust building up under the seat .”
“The Cub is becoming an iconic bike, it's a cheap fun bike, bullet-proof engine.
The not so good: Rust, poor brakes, poor suspension. indicators on the 'wrong' side...
Suited for smaller/slimmer riders(or roads with no potholes)
