“I sold a BMW R80RT, cos 77years old & wanted smaller bike. Very pleased with all this bike has to offer, performance suits me fine. Not so good for 6 feet 2ers, not a problem a home made foam rubber ;EXTRA; seat could not cure.”
“I was told this bike was the best commuter ever made - a solid workhorse, and they were right! Do not be left thinking this is a boring bike either though... they don't race these for nothing! It is an ideal bike for starting out the road or the track with its nippy handling and surge of power around 8000rpm. It is very reliable and has awesome honda build quality.
The only bad point I can think of is the mild steel exhaust system - easily corroded with lack of protective fairings and the British weather; a stainless set is available fairly cheaply though, so not the end of the world.”
