It tends to drink the coolant quite a bit but fortunately this isnt as expensive as other refill fluids. Been checked out by the dealer and has been put down to a quirk..? The miles per gallon is ok so long as your strict with your speed and revs, personally i think it could be a little better. But none the less I am extremely happy with my Honda cb500f. I went in wanting a bike that had predicable acceleration but looked and sounded like something good enough for the city, With a manufacturer with a good reputation for quality. I am very happy to commute a 50 mile trip (if not a little longer) on it. Its fun and perfect for a newbie lady biker. I would certainly recommend to a newbie or to a person decided to get back into the world of biking.

I have sold this bike reason I am 5 foot 4 ins tall and can only touch the ground with my toes. Also the seat is so high at the back it is difficult to get ones leg over to mount the bike. I have now purchased a VT750 S which is easier to mount as it has a lower seat.
