Very good bike for money, low fuel consumption and great reliability. Good performance but suspension in new bikes give you more confidence.

I can't really fault my 954 Fireblade. Handling, brakes and performance ( performance enhanced substantially by addition of Procom Power Jet ), are all superb. It does what it says on the can and still comes near the top in bike ratings. Not bad for a 13 year old machine. So easy to ride, linear power delivery, makes my arms ache hanging on when accelerating ! Doesn't wag it's head on bumpy corners; has been set up properly.

After adding rear sets and a corbin seat the ride quality in terms of comfort changed drastically. I've also added a steering damper to help the front end and an akrapovic exhaust... One of the best bikes I've owned...

When I first clicked on the bid button on ebay I was really excited that I was the proud owner of a fireblade but worried wether it was going to be a heavy little bastard. When I arrived in Selby and he wheeled her out It was like beauty and the beast. It looked beautiful but very daunting as it was a pure monster.I got it home and left it sat on the drive as I was daunted by getting it fired up and taking it out but after my first ride I found it surprisingly light and was like a duck to water and now absolutely love the bike.Ive just gotta watch that throttle as she's up to 80 in seconds.Very happy with everything about the blade and have never looked back after riding an NC30 around all these years.
