Love my bike, got it and it was a bit rough but now the engine is reliable and rides well. Lovely to ride on as my first 125 I'm still getting used to it a little. Front brake could really do with being a disc brake rather than drum. Fuel consumption is good enough for me however it will struggle to do 60 without the revs being too high and in 5th it doesn't accelerate past 55 as it doesn't have the torque (rear sproket has been reduced in size at some point)

Use it as a commuter bike and find it to be very reliable and economical. Easy to look after too.

What to say. It is CG125, reliable work horse, and it can be repaired with hammer on your knee. Mine was made in 1977....pretty old lady;)

I've been using my 2005 Honda CG for two years now and never had a mechanical problem with it, I average 96 MPG, around £200 per year for insurance in North London ( I'm 21 years old ), £17 per year Vehicle Excise Duty. I do have to top up engine oil once every few months but that's quite normal for an 11 year old bike. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It's great for city, or small A roads, but if you're looking for a bike to use on motorways or faster moving ( >~50 MPH ) A roads, then you should be looking for bikes with higher power. This bike does go up to 65 - 70 MPH but it's not a comfortable speed to ride it at.

Quite an old model but you wouldn't know from riding it. Not the quickest 125 available but comfortable and reliable. Ridden mine through floods where cars were giving up. Plenty of parts available to customise and make it your own. Personally, i cant wait to get a bigger bike but for around town and short trips you could use a cg125 forever.
