This Honda had 350 miles when purchased, it now has 75.000. I have ridden it to Bulgaria, and Scandanavia, The seat is uncomfortable, but it does up to 90 miles to the gallon. I have had to replace the camchain and tensioner, at 65,000, and the 4 needle roller bearings and 2 shafts on the rear suspension. I also fitted a used 10,000 mile rear shock. The engine has to be doing over 60 mph before 6th gear can be used, otherwise the transmission is jerky, I can get about 240 miles from the 14.1 litre tank. I dream of getting a Tiger 800 when I replace it, but will probably get a new NC 750.

Quite annoying with the short shifting however it gets plenty of mpg and the "frunk" is great for keeping my helmet in. In all a great bike if I was to trade it in I'd probably get an nc700x instead which says it all really.

First big bike after a 39 year break. Brilliant for commuting and economy. More than enough around town and keeps up on a run. With the added bonus of storage where the tank normally is, what more could you want.

Amazing fuel economy. Torque is very good around 3000 revs although and top end is adequate. Can't get a full face helmet in the "petrol tank" storage box though - perhaps my head is too big!
