Hi, I bought this bike from new in July 2013. I did a trip from the top end of Scotland to the bottom end of England covering 1200 miles. I found the seat comfortable but after a time it was so so. I ended with backache. The bike is quite tall so i would advise you to check it out first. It would have been better with an extra gear. I have made a few changes since that trip. I have lowered the seat and fitted bar risers. I put memory foam and gel in the seat. This has made a big improvement. I now sit more upright and can put my feet flat on the ground. I am 11 stone and 5 "9 tall. I also altered the std screen with one with a adjustable deflector, I now leave on second adjustment and just alter the deflector when I need too. It's not a super bike but it's fast enough. I also fitted a lower fairing, it now looks complete. I had a BMW 115O RT for 10 years before this one. It's not as heavy, but it's not a light bike either. I've see reports that it's got a range of 250 miles? The only way to get that mileage would be to fit a wind sail on the back. I think if you can get 2010 out of a full tank you are doing well, The other thing I noticed was the turning circle was not as good as the BMW. This is my own experience based on the mileage I have covered. Hope this helps. Chris.

just back from a 7500 mile trip around scandinavia and up to the russian border before making a pilgrimage to "nordkapp". What an experience two up on a 7 year old bike and not a drop of oil used . No complaints from my wife a first time pillion and none from the bike either . Oh and did i mention a combined age of 130 and weight of 150 kilos.

I heard someone say "This bike does nothing wrong" and I would agree. Shaft drive, no messy chain to worry about, it has good pulling power and will happily cruse in top gear which in this case is 5. I should really have six gears as often I would like to drop it in a higher gear. Overtaking is reasonable, wind protection and luggage capacity with the built in panniers and top box is more than adequate. Comfortable on long journeys, and always have a smile on my face when riding it. Have enjoyed two motor cycling holidays. The only glitch is the panniers. They have to be carefully closed, otherwise they can fail to shut. See this video which explains. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rRXF9oVfpI.
