Very reliable, easy to maintain bike. Engine could sound better and brakes could be sharper, but when you get use to it, it is very steady bike. Ride bikes sine 2011 and not planning to stop any time soon... Have NT 700 for 1 year now, planning to stick with it for some time as next update will Trump Explorer, which is out of my pocket still, continue to save...

The Deauville is a great all round commuter, the new shape model does away with the clumsy latches for the side panniers, now on by the grab rail, also larger internaly without making the bike wider :) but you now need to remove the seat to access the helmet lock ??, a large top box is needed, the full fairing allows you to stay mostly dry in light rain, the adjustable screen is good for all shapes and sizes, bullet proof engine, and more torque than Jerry Springer.... this is my 4th version (cars don't like me) but away's got up after the crash due to the crash bars and mountings keeping the bike mostly off me when i go down.... I personally can't fault this bike, ...and they retain there price too..... go buy one now !!!

I have stepped down from a Pan European as I am now old and decrepit and it became just too heavy for me. I had 12 wholly reliable years out of it and the new owner is touring Italy on it now as I write. I am adjusting to the 700cc engine. Its noisier but I am enjoying the improvement in manoeuvrability. The weather protection is also a little less but I suspect this is going to be fine for my riding for a few more years.

Really enjoying my bike, comfortable reliable and just what I had hoped for. Warm handle bar grips and big screen extra bonus as they keep me warn and dry!!

Great Bike - it does what it's suppose to and provides a very comfortable ride. As a tourer it's great with the top box and panniers. The only slight criticism is that it feels slightly underpowered - 850cc would be better in terms of giving an extra zip. Otherwise it's everything I'd hoped it would be - comfortable, reliable and a great ride.

I have not ridden a motorcycle for over 20 years so decided it was time to get myself back on 2 wheels. I wanted a tourer not over powered but as my confidence grows able to take me where I want at legal limits and comfy with a little presence Well the Deauville has certainly gained my respect and praise. For me It handles well has ample power and over the last few months I have owned it has allowed me to gain vital experience and confidence enabling me to ride from Norfolk to Guernsey and back to visit a close friend and have my first adventure. The trip covered motorways fast A roads and on my return trip lots and lots of minor roads. I found at night the headlights were superb and having 2 fitted extra daytime riding lights is a must for safety. Brill bike........

I love the Honda Deauville. It is my first big bike. I am heavy so need a heavy bike under me for balance. The luggage is also very useful. The shaft drive is great, as I don't have to worry about adjusting a chain. This is the perfect bike for me. Hopefully, a full service will sort out the poor fuel efficiency.
