Great scooter for a commuter, top speed 65ish(not up hill) But check the service cost, if you do a fair amount of miles the service cost build up.

Had a Lambretta LD150 in 1961, has taken me a long time to get back on the road with the PCX125. Very pleased I have finally taken the plunge and am delighted with the bike. It does everything I expect of it, and is very good value for money. Have completed around 500 miles so far with no problems and always look forward to every ride. One niggling fault I have noticed when cleaning the bike, there is evidence of surface rust appearing on the frame in areas around joins and welds. Wouldn't expect this from Honda knowing there reputation for quality and durability, and will certainly be taking this up with the dealer at the first service. I will probably consider upgrading next year to a bigger bike now that I am getting more proficient on the road, so quality of service will be an important decider. .

I bought this PCX to return to biking after many years away. After the CBT and 600 miles I decided to go for my full licence, so trained on 600 cc machines. I have a full licence now and have bought a CBR 500. The PCX was a delightful machine to ride and the twist and go was very smooth. I had only spent £20 on fuel so was getting over 120 miles per gallon. I thought the shape and colour was good. One feature was the large under seat storage that would take a full helmet and a light jacket. A very good machine for commuting and riding moderate distances.

I bought the latest model in July 2015. Really good build quality and performance. Fuel consumption is superb. Styling and wind protection are very good. OEM Accessories are too expensive although quality screens are available from specialists. The only thing I will be changing are the oem rear shock absorbers, They are just too harsh and give a bumpy ride and not adjustable. Fortunately, there are some good alternatives available. In a nutshell, the PCX is a good scoot. I am sixty five and started riding when I was 16 years old . I have to say its the best one I have had in 49 years. .
