My first "big" bike. I bought it with Kawasaki 0% interest free credit at a great price and I do like the bike and am proud to own it. The bike looks good especially in black/silver and to date (over 3 years) I have not had any problems with owning it. My only criticisms are 1. the mirrors are to narrow. There is a Kawasaki approved accessory to widen the view, but this should have been set as standard. 2. The seat does give you a numb bum after about an hour, also on my model the ridge between the rider and passenger cushion is not as defined as on the current (2012 onwards) model and wearing fabric riding gear I do have to readjust my position from time to time. Overall very happy with owing and riding this bike, which I ride purely for pleasure.

This is my first big bike I got it because of the deal/steal for a brand new bike. I looked at others like the Susuki SV and the Yamaha MT-07 however I chose the Kawasaki ER-6N. The bike is great, the parallel twin engine is brilliant, much better than the SV v-twin. The bike is nippy and not so heavy you can't through it In to corners. The suspension I have found to be a bit soft on the Sunday ride at speed but if you are nipping into to town it eats up the unforeseen pot holes nicely. The controls are simple nothing fancy but do what you need. Ride height is good for shorter folk I'm 5.3 and it's grand for me can't get both my feet down but I definitely don't struggle. Brakes are grand have had not one issue with them stop me when I need to and never feel them unexpected locking up. I have the no ABS model. The fuel economy is grand infact I would say good for sensible riding and what you expect when opening the throttle. The only real negative I have is I think the Dunlop tyres that come as standard could be better. Over all this is a great fun bike, grey price, practical for commutes and grat fun on the Sunday rides, quick and smooth on the throttle. Would take this bike any day over similar models from other makes.

I love my girl. Yes my bike is a girl I've had a ZZR600 and a ZXR 400 and she is the one I feel most confident and comfortable one. She looks great (I got the black one) the only thing I'm not keen on it the large tail tidy but that can be changed and the exhaust could be louder but as a stand can goes it's ok She's very economical and comfortable. Handles well in bends and so far no issues. The bright red shock gets her some looks but just makes her more eye catching. I brought her from new (the only bike I have) and I'm getting my money's worth. Good value for money, she worth every penny.
