“The KLX250 is an underrated dual sport, not a big seller like the Honda CRF250 or the WR250, because it was left behind by the fact that Kawasaki was late adding fuel injection, so why the other two sold on droves, only Kawasaki fans and finance deals attracted buyers. Now that Kawasaki has added fuel injection, it still seems underpowered and restricted. It's been a big seller in the USA and a few other countries, and they have a great aftermarket. Here in the U.K. aftermarket is very poor, unlike the other big two. I ended up buying one because it's a nice bike to look at, not many of the about, 0% finance, and the fact it has a easy way to get extra power by the means of a small wire hack that lets you rev to 10k rpm in the last 3 gears... extra power that it was lacking. All in all it's well worth the money and can recommend one over the more expensive makes! Great deals out there!!”
“bikes really flat on the road, but my other bike is a zx 10,
but more than enough for me on trails and that is what i bought it for.
it comfy easy to ride and ive had no issues with it so far
only other off roader ive rid, is a crf250l, was a good bike but felt heavy and the foot rest seem really high compared to the Kawasaki
love the looks really please with my choice a good first trail bike”
“The bike runs amazing, handles great in wet or dry conditions. I have had no major issues with the machine, the only possible problems are that it rattles out non essential bolts over time, and so they need to be checked on a regular basis. Fuel economy is about 65 to the gallon, and the bike will comfortably sit at 70mph all day, the only downside being that due to having no fairing on this style of bike, the buffeting can get pretty bad. Also, due to the smaller engine size, wind and rain conditions will severely affect the bikes ability to get up to and maintain speed.”
