“I believe it's the best bang for your buck. Everything is on it which you need. It's more basic than the more expensive KTM or Ducati/Triump & BMW. But will still keep up with them. I used to get a numb bum and back but that was my riding position which I have sorted out now.
Only had one issue with mine which was the front discs warped really quickly but were changed under warranty.”
“Handles very well for size and weight. Decent enough power with lots of torque. Lots of storage space. Looks Sexy as hell in grey. Extremely comfortable with a brilliant riding position. Excellent brakes. Sounds great with standard can when you push it. Can get 200miles out of a tank (Depends on how its ridden) I love it to bits!”
“I am delighted with this bike. It suits me exactly.Good looking ina Transformery kind of way, smart orange, probably the most comfortable sable and seating position of any bike I've had, quick when I like to be quick, easy to ride in all traffic situations. Loads of luggage space for the occasional tour in Spain, pretty economical for a 1000, even when loaded and cracking on. No problems so far so I don't know what costs beyond services and tyres are like yet, but they are just fine so far. I am struggling for negatives! Oh, the gear indicator is pants. It only tells you what gear is actually engaged, which I can tell by how the engine is pulling. Pull the clutch in and the display goes blank, then it guesses at a few gears, and only settles down when you let the clutch out... All a bit pointless really.
Overall, utterly delighted. Well done Kawasaki for updating the Versys so effectively. A keeper!”
