“I opted for this model specifically for a road trip to the 70th D Day celebrations in Normandy.
I have to say that I could not have made a better choice.
The only negative I have is the standard tyres fitted from new. After the first service I swapped them for the Michelin Road Pilot 3. The handling improved no end.
I enjoyed the bike so much I bought a new Versys 1000 in June (same engine, different gearing). Another great choice.
