“A good solid heavy old school bike that looks great even today, unfortunately my fully restored sexy girl has been defiled by a careless driver in a non fault accident, good handling when set up for your weight and height, very sure in all acceleration, cornering and breaking, at idle they sound a but knockie but sweet and loud like a true race replica which is what these bikes are when you rev them high, 8 out of 10. Requires annual carb maintenance and balancing but very reliable almost bullet proof !!!”
“Still one of my favourite looking bikes - the ZX7R is porky by today's standards, but has bags of character and its handling can embarrass owners of more modern tackle with its superb well-planted front end allowing quite daring late braking and cornering. Mine has whipped a few bigger displacement machines because it has a free-flow pipe with a well-sorted DynoJet kit and goes like shit off a shiny shovel (as my Dad used to say) :).”
“Hand my 7 for 13 years now...
Brilliant bike back in the day... and still brilliant now.
Mine runs stock carbs, jet and needles, which is porbably why she still runs properly.
Awesome front end even today.
She's heavy compared to most, and like a battleship compared to new sports bikes... but man... is she planted in the twistys.
In the past 13 years only 1 bike has been built that would tempt me away. But I cant afford a Triumph 675... and I just LOVE my 7.
