“Great bike. It is my 4th zx9r, this is the F model , and is the best of them. Engine has all the power you need, lifting front in first, second and third, once you go above 10 000 revs. Riding position really good, very comfy, and a lot of space. I am 15 stone and feel great on this bike. All the modern sports bikes are to small for my liking. I had R1, 2001 before, and loved it, but this one suits me better. Allowing me to push it harder with ease . Great for travelling but also great for a track day, which I`ve done with huge plesure. And I`ve only paid less then two grand...what a bike .”
“This is a brilliant bike that does evreything pretty well! Totally under rated very capable and reliable bike. More then enough speed to show up a lot of the latest tackle, its a fantastic real world road bike with good manners, comfort and power that leaves you smiling every you ride it.
If kawasaki made them brand new I'd have one tomorrow. Fantastic.”
“The ZX9R is a quick, stable solid bike with a bullet proof engine......what you'd expect from a Kawasaki Ninja heritage. It's a comfortable ride too and you can easily run to reserve without feeling a numb bum. It you want speed then 170mph is easily achievable and the bike feels planted so who needs more?
On the downside it's a pretty heavy bike to throw around so some may not like that in twists and turns where you want to chop and change direction with speed and confidence. My only major problem is with the Tokico brakes....a common problem easily resolved by swapping to Nissin four pot alternatives I believe.
Overall a cracking bike with only a few niggles. I'd have another any day!”
“Zx9 bi ninja 1995,had this bike 6 years and would keep it another six ,it very predictable fast and very stable at high speeds (no more than 70 mph Mr police man)brakes work fine engine pull,s like a train very reliable good for long distance touring,.”
