“Brilliant motorcycle provided you are long in the leg. Does everything well from making good progress in sports mode to travelling sedately and viewing the countryside. Easiest bike I have ever ridden. Menu is easy to follow and use. I have travelled long distances on a daily basis abroad and seat stays comfortable. The only issue I have had relates to the original panniers which were a disaster. The locking mechanism was a joke. I understand the original fitments have been upgraded but I would still consider getting non KTM panniers.”
“Cracking bike - light, responsive, great sound and comfortable. Not a good commuter as runs hot when stationery so commuting in the summer would be uncomfortable. Excellent tourer and done 20,000 miles on mine in 3 years mainly on tours. No reliability problems at all. Have kept the bike and bought a new KTM 1290 Adventure S to keep it company.”
