Stunning bike, quite a few electrical problems along the way but overall great for day to day riding.

I purchased a Ducati Monster 797 at first, hoping to have concentrated lessons to pass my test. I found I was very rusty, because when I was younger I only had a provisional license. So I then purchased a KTM 125 Duke, it was between this and an Aprilia Tuono 125. The KTM worked out a little cheaper and I was able to buy it with 0% finance. I have just done about 500miles waiting eagerly for the fist service ( it is limited to 7250 rpm running it in) I feel it is a very cool looking bike and has wider rear tyres than the completion, so you think it should be more sure footed on the road. I also like reading about the motorcycle reviews that rate it the best in the class. Because I am over 6 foot I also looked at the frame/seat height which also gives the impression of a larger bike. Based on all these experiences I would consider the 390 duke next because it would be a useful step up, and are surprised that more manufactures do not produce a premium bike this size. So summing up based on my experience so far I could recommend the KTM125 Duke for young or older riders.

Awesome Newbie bike. Best London commuter ever. Agile and nippy. Been on bigger bikes, but still have fun on the 125.
