I am a BMW fan and have ridden the R1200GS Adv for the last 12 years. This is my first time on a full off road bike. Once you learn how to kick start (No I didn't know how, my BMW has an awesome little button that takes all the hard work out:-) ) The bike is awesome. Lite, nimble, easy to pick up, easy to start....
I am currently loving this ride. OK so it doesn't like the road. Speed isn't its forte nor is tar.Add the 2 together and its not comfortable, but then thats like complaining that your Maserati doesn't like dirt roads, horses for courses and all that. Take her off road and all of a sudden your in familiar territory and having a blast!!
