“If you're getting back on a Lambretta after a long time you're in for a shock. The handling and breaking on a standard bike are horrible you have to remember there's no break light when using the front break and the breaking is poor, but when you are on a run with a bunch of like minded riders there's nothing better.
One more thing to anyone thinking of getting back into scooters. Buy a SIL, most of the the restored Lambrettas are full of spares made in India so even if it's an Italian scooter it's probably more Indian than Italian and a GP 200 is dam site cheaper”
