“I bought this bike brand new and if I was to describe it in a word? Dreadful. The bike actually suffered several serious breakdowns in the time I owned it and was not fit for purpose from day one. If you call the exhaust almost falling off due to parts failing and the engine almost falling out mid-turn a good factor for the bike you've just payed £1000 for barely two months beforehand then this bikes for you.
The petrol tanks overflow flows directly onto the engine, the rear brake doesn't hold the bike steady on an incline and the top speed is about 5mph slower than any other learner legal 125. The speedo never worked properly straight from purchase. The only positive point I have about the bike is the mpg of it, I got about 70-80mpg out of it but that's not including all the miles it did loaded on a recovery vehicle which, let me assure you, was longer than you get to spend actually riding the thing.
I've spoken to two local dealerships that sold this bike and they have both stopped selling it due to my experience and countless of their own customers experiences, yet Lexmoto are adamant that there is no problem with their blatantly flawed design.
Honestly, go take what you would have spent here and buy a used Yamaha or Honda 125 if you want one, or save your money for a cb500 or an old suzuki bandit they're all unbreakable.”
