This is the second lexmoto scooter that i have had. the first one was 18 months old and the engine seized within 4 months. I should have known better than to buy another - but it was literally all i could afford. I am a fast food rider and after the first bike (lexmoto pulse phantom} seized, i borrowed enough to afford a sym jet 50 sport x. I have loved it to bits and during the 3 months i used it whilst saving for another 125 - its reliability, comfort and durability has convinced me that if i can ever afford a brand new scooter - it will be the more expensive sym 125. So why am i not still using this brilliant sym 50? It was only ever an interim bike to keep my job going whilst i paid back the loan and saved for another 125 because a 50cc just isnt quick enough to earn max potential at a busy take away. Anyways got the gladiator in december, since then it has had; rear light electrical fault, stator not charging battery fault, fairings coming lose, head bearing, brake pads worn out in under a month from new, back brake lever catching, weak headlights even on full, center stand working loose to the point that one bolt fell out somewhere so i had to take stand off, exhaust bolts literally working there way lose and out from where the exhaust bolts to the engine (i'm now on the sixth set of bolts) my opinion - lexmoto very poorly made.

For the price of this its an excellent scooter. Nimble and quick off the mark. The specs say a top speed of 55 but if you use it properly during the run in period it goes quicker, I've got mine to 65. Comfortable to ride over long distances and good fuel economy
