It's very comfortable and fast enough for me . Balance and handling is great for a tourer .

I have ridden bikes for 50yrs and have owned British, Japanese and German bikes, in 2012 I bought a Moto Guzzi Breva 1100 for touring it was the best bike I had ever owned as an all round daily and long distance tourer. In 2014 I upgraded to the Norge 1200 GT 8V as it is the same frame but later engine and full fairing with coordinated luggage. Now this is the best bike I have ever owned. I have covered 15k miles in two years with no issues or problems I have toured the UK, including the NC500 Northern Europe and Italy twice. I do not understand why the buying public still have a misconceived perception of the marque yet revere bikes with much poorer build quality. Moto Guzzi are one of the best kept secrets of the motorcycle world.

I picked my 2012 at 1r months old and haven't had a problem due to the bike. I did have a small off, forced into a hedge on a small country lane and it took 10 weeks to get the parts. The main UK distributer was not helpful. Lovely bike to ride though at 250+Kgs it is heavy and is difficult to manoeuvre at slow-walking speeds. Weather protection is good but can get a little helmet buffeting at higher speeds. The Pirelli Angel GT tyres work really well allowing a planted ride even in the wet. Comfort is good and can certainly use the 200mile tank range without needing a stop before. Downside my two nearest dealers have given up on Piaggio, the parent company, due to their high demands and their poor customer service. Trying to get spare parts such as a fairing badge can take weeks. It is nice to have people come over and ask me about the bike, mainly "you don't see many of these anymore".

Bought a late 2011 Norge as I needed a bike to do everything except off-road and this bike does everything I could wish for. New this costs around £13K and bought this one with on 6000 miles on the clock for a mere £7k- worth every penny. Over 200 miles on a tank, very comfortable and has a sports bike feel on the twistys. Best bike I have owned and I have had quite a few! use it fun Sunday ride outs, serious touring and work. Brilliant and also a little bit different than all those beemers!
