“The 250 Satelis benefits from the excellent Piaggio engine. Very reliable and fairly economical (85mpg Urban; 94mpg Extra Urban) for its cc. Protection is good (hand guards are indispensable), standard windshield has the right height. Stability is good on roads but - weighing a 'mere' 160kg, it's rather sensitive to strong winds. Executive models have ABS, combined linked braking and PBS, which provide excellent braking. I have owned it for over 5 years with impeccable reliability record. On the down side, Peugeot parts are outrageously expensive (exhaust, shocks, faring etc)!! Faring is very fragile (e.g. mudguard) and paintwork scratches too easily, no kick starter when battery is out (thanks to lights being still on when turning off ignition).”
