“For £800 it was very good value for money. This price will not buy you the best of bikes, but it does the job to get around town. Looks good.
I would not recommend for big build person, as not very powerful.
I had a few problems with engine stopping at beginning and water getting in petrol tank, this was covered by guarantee. Once fixed , it has been reliable for two years, being used about once a week.
I was a bit reluctant to buy after reading reviews, but I don't regret it. Great to get out on about, saves bus fares and waiting !”
“The Pulse Scout is never going to get you anywhere fast and I wouldn't recommend it for long journeys. But it's an excellent little bike for scooting around town, and at less than £800.00 brand new you can't really get better. In fact, I've grown very attached to my Pulse!”
“Meh
Not the best nor the worst
Good first bike if you're not looking to spend huge amounts, but you face consequences for not spending as much. Steering is not the bikes best point, nor are the brakes.”
“It's a cheap and cheerful way to get into the two wheeled life! £800 new. What do you want? So long as you know the basics, or in my case work in the trade, you'll not go far wrong with one of these! Just make sure to keep a stock of speedo cables + electrical connectors!
Would I recommend this? If you're competent with basic spannering/diagnosig, yes.
You get a 12 Month Warranty. Don't bother. It'll cost you nearly another scooter to keep it. Mileage dependant. The parts are cheap enough to not bother!
