The Tornado is still able to be thrown around like a little 400/600 lightweight
The only down side I have had in the last six months of ownership is that on full chat to keep up with the litre plus 4 cylinder bikes the Tornado does hit the red on the temperature gauge.
Other than that a good toy.
After 3 years it will be just a collectable in the house like my other toys become.

This Italian superbike turns heads like no other bike out there. It seems to draw people in and ask questions like "what's the fans at the back for" and "is it ok to take a piccy".
The 900cc big triple engine breathes a sound i have not experienced before...think powerboat...think tractor!
Open her up and the soundtrack becomes addictive. The journey becomes more involving, more rewarding.
Downsides.......no longer manufacturing. Built for track and fast riding, not trundling round town and commuting.
Upsides......Brembo brakes, extremeTech steering damper, slipper clutch, Arrow exhaust, exclusivity, individuality, and grin factor. If looked after and serviced at required intervals, this bike is just as reliable and cheap to run as any japanese superbike.
Anyone considering this bike, check necessary modificaions have been carried out, and ignore short term magazine trials and listen to owners who have lived with this bike over a few years rather than a few days, such as Benelliforum as i discovered.”
