“Lovely bike for plodding about town on, doesnt like to do any more than around 55mph, but mine is 17 years old, runs excellent for what it is, will keep up with the likes of a cbr125 and a wr125 up to about 45 mph, brilliant on fuel get about 150 miles to a tank if I ride economically.
Good points
Brilliant on fuel
Lightweight and small
Short seat height (I’m 5,4 and can get both feet down
Excellent at low speeds
Decent acceleration for what it is
Comfortable
Bad points
No fuel gauge
Can be a little sluggish up hill
Not a sports bike by any means
Automatic choke (some people like it some don’t, personally I don’t)”
“Just a class bike, little bit of trouble as you’d expect from a £400 bike and obviously not overly powerful but it’s done everything I’ve asked of it”
“it had been standing for a while so i got it insured to get it mot,ed it was going to cost more than the bike was worth so i sold it to a friend who since has also sold it on”
“Its a good little bike, as 125's go mine has done many a mile. I am keeping it for my son to learn on, its a great learner bike, great local "runaround", comfy for short rides out and reliable if you give it a warm through winter.”
“fuel consumption is 100mpg much of my riding is climing two hills.ihave owned the bike for 7 years and only fitted a chain and sprocket.a superb little bike”
“I like my GN 125. It is what it is. It's a125. It sounds like a real bike and is very comfy. It's not a racey looking bike nor does it go at 60 mph unless of course there's a 59mph tail wind , however as a first bike I wouldn't swap it . I am really enjoying the GN and would definitely recommend it.”
